Professional Orchestra Program
The International Lyric Academy is celebrating 30 years of success by partnering again with Opera Carolina. In 2024, the ILA will offer an intensive Orchestra program in Charlotte, NC and Italy.
We offer instrumentalists participating in the Festival Orchestra for the special 6-week program 2024. The festival is looking for talented young instrumentalists coming from Universities, colleges and high schools. Private Musicians are welcome too. Musicians will be offered a unique life experience and the possibility to perform in both countries,
PROGRAM DATES:
USA: Charlotte, June 9 – July 1
ITALY: Vicenza, July 7 – July 28
COST:
includes shared accommodation in an air conditioned double/triple room in a 4 stars hotel in Charlotte & Vicenza, with wi-fi and breakfast, but does not include airfare and meals.
AUDITION REPERTOIRE: Orchestra Professors: Please include 2 unaccompanied or accompanied pieces of your choice that best showcase your talents and abilities. We strongly encourage chamber ensembles to apply as a group to be featured in concert performances throughout Veneto. Apply Now
